dc.description.abstractThe physiographic characterization of a watershed is extremely useful as a complement to the study of susceptibility to gravitational mass movements and floods, through obtaining quantitative morphometric indexes that help in hydrological and environmental studies related to territorial management. Thus, this preliminary interpretation combined with field validation allows the optimization of decision-making regarding potential land use and occupation and better management regarding the possible susceptibility to floods and erosion.pt_BR
