Insumos minerais aplicados na construção civil e as potenciais novas demandas ocasionadas pela problemática do bairro Pinheiro e arredores - Maceió, Alagoas

Abstract

This work gathers information of interest to the mineral sector focused on civil constructionof the Metropolitan Region of Maceió (MRm) and surrounding areas, State of Alagoas, Brazil, showing the analysis of the geological context; mineral potential and profile of inputs for civil construction. The activities were included in the registration, research and evaluation of deposits, through the geological recognition of the main stratigraphic units in areas with potential for the extraction of clay, sand and granitoid rocks for use as gravel, gravel and lending material.These data can guide the sector for a better applicability of these inputs in the face of all the interdiction problems for housing that occurred in the neighborhood of Pinheiro and surroundings areas.
